Keith Batten, Director, Keith is currently the Associate Director of the new Broadway production of Spiderman, Turn Off The Dark. His original production of La Novicia Rebelde won Best Musical in Mexico City, 2009. As Associate Director with Walt Disney Theatrical Productions, he maintained both AIDA and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST on Broadway, while staging new produtions of both shows worldwide. Among the hundreds of talented actors he has directed are Toni Braxton, Deborah Cox, Michelle Williams, Cheyenne Jackson, Elena Roger, John Barrowman and Bianca Marroquin.Prior to Disney, Keith worked for 7 years with Cameron Mackintosh and Mirvish Productions as Associate Director of LES MISERABLES and Executive Producer of MISS SAIGON.

Dave Scott, Executive Choreographer is a developmental consultant to the overall dance in ONE.

CHOREOGRAPERS WHO HAVE ASSISTED ONE’S DEVELOPMENT
ONE has 19 dance numbers that cover a range of hip-hop and jazz styles. Each dance style has a specific dramatic role in propelling the action, whether it be step, break, ol schul, krump or hybrid styles.

Darin Henson, Choreographer choreographed two key songs at a developmental workshop of ONE at Ailey studios.
Darrin has choreographed music videos for Britney Spears, J-lo, Usher, Nsync, and has co-stared in the movies (as actor), Stomp the Yard and Tekken).

Lema Diaz, Earnest ‘Kxz’ Mendola, and Chelo Maria Espina, choreographed “Play Station” for developmental workshops in Manila, Philippines.They are members of the Philippine All Stars who won the 2008 International Hip Hop Competition in Las Vegas.

The Spellman Sisters
The Spellman Sisters have been key consultants in the development of ONE from the very beginning. They were responsible for helping to define the talent pool and brought Dave Scott on board.

Joseph Tadipa, Amplified Hip Hop
Joseph choreographed two dance performance workshops to a major youth convention in Baguio, Philippines. His crew then went on to win the World Battlegrounds Championships 2009 in December in Australia. See video clip of “Um Down”, watch video.

Currently living in Hawaii, Anthony penned “The Writing On The Wall” and “The Birth of a Nation.”

Al Crawford lights all international productions of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Al lit major developmental performances of ONE in Chicago, Martha’s Vineyard, The JCC in Manhattan, and at The Ailey Theater in New York. Al has been an integral part in conceptualizing innovative lighting for the dance in ONE.
